A good spot for a run or walk the dog or let the kids have a play , or just have a sit in the car while looking over the bay enjoying the view and having a snack .Toilets just down the road to the west on the opposite side of the road in the reserve .

Katie Cove is an awesome spot to take your dogs and toddlers for a swim. It is adjacent to an off lead dog park so it's perfectly legal. On the low tide there is small area of sand 20 m off shore. From here the water is shallow towards the beach for the kids, or you can go for a swim in the protected cove which is 1.5 to 2 m deep.
