how many kids go to bayside overall and how many kids go to williamstown campus
Avoid during school hours and after school hours. Lots of selfish parents and kids.
Absolutely incredible teaching staff
In response to Hamish below who gave such a bad review, I'm sure incidents happen in many schools which are dealt with the best they can and don't have a "Local Guide" (who judging from your world wide reviews is not so local at all) constantly repeating certain negative incidents publicly. The only thing this will do is discourage all nice families to enroll their children there and the school will suffer, getting more bad kids and then the cycle continues. It's not helpful, on the contrary it's damaging and who are you anyway and how do you become a Local Guide and what qualifications do you have? Are you a random who heard rumours from kids? Are you a parent or a student? I know families whose kids have gone here for 5 years and thought it was great and had an overall positive experience. At all schools and even in life sometimes bad things do happen though you get over it and move on not repeat the bad experiences non stop. I'm sure the teachers dealt with the issues the best they could and the offending kids were disciplined, they can't just overlook things. For months I have been asking many older kids and families about many of the Secondary schools in the Western suburbs while deciding where to send my kids and there were good and bad stories to all of them. Even bad stories of Williamstown High. I feel sorry for Bayside to have you repeatedly creep on them so much. Go creep elsewhere you creep.
The teachers are great, however the students who go there, are inappropriate, rude, abusive, break/steal/burn other students property. I have never in my life seen such undisciplined students, who encourage NOT LEARNING and instead try to procrastinate. Some students there are abusive to teachers, as I have seen a student throw a chair onto a teacher, and try stabbing them with a pen; I was told that incidents like that occurred regularly As I later learned. I had been informed by students there that bullying occurred regularly, but students were afraid to escalate incidents to those responsible, as the bully would physically & verbally beat the student, when not in sight of a teacher. I have seen parents take this to a higher staff, only to be told there is nothing they can do about this, due to the public educational system does not having severe enough consequences, as the staff there have tried everything but nothing seems to work.Bayside College has attempted to delete there Google Page, in attempt to remove all the negative reviews, However my experience there has scarred me for life, and I will re-post this message each time they re-create their page, whilst leaving a number of the repost number on the bottom of my review.3
