Pleasent adventure to the west! Our tour guide John K was knowledgeable, humorous, and I enjoyed his storytelling on the road. Highly recommend the reverse great ocean road tour to avoide the crowd :D
I joined the Great Ocean Road tour last week. It was really well organized. It took 12 hours during which we saw plenty of beautiful things. The staff was well prepared, they told us a lot of interesting things about Australia.Tour highly recommended.
Had an excellent day out visiting Philip Island (beautiful place) and the Penguin Parade. I would like to give a big thank you to Carl Richards; our very knowledgeable, passionate and funny tour guide. I would recommend and I look forward to the Great Ocean Road trip later in the week.
My partner and I booked the Great Ocean Road tour and we were very impressed! Our tour guide and driver, Tim, was incredibly insightful and knowledgeable on so many different topics. He was wonderful, with a perfect mix of professional and laid back. As fellow Australians, my partner and I were happy to hear so much about Australias Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people throughout the tour, as they are often left out of Australias recount of history. We were so pleased to have the opportunity to see so much at our own pace. Even though time was limited at different locations, at no point did we feel rushed. Lots of great photo opportunities and moments to just take in the beautiful sights. We also did a night trip to Phillip Island to see the Penguin Parade! Wow, it was amazing! Again, our tour guide and driver, James, was perfect for the job. We can tell that he loves his job and the little penguins! James was also very insightful, providing us with a lot of information about the critters at Phillip Island, and well as information and history about Victoria as well. We had a wonderful time and will be back one day soon. Both of these tours were worth every penny; you definitely get your monies worth.Thank you, Tim, James and Autopia, for giving us an experience of a lifetime!
Tim's deep knowledge of the Great Ocean Road tour enabled us to minimize the congestion with other tours and gets us to fascinating views of beautiful Australia. His rough voice and music selections adds drama to the lands' histories that he passionately tells. Never a dull moment and for sure any tourist would feel very welcome with Tim.Tim is 5 stars for me but the overall is a 4 (bus comfort, itinerary, etc.).Simple tip for tourists: have a good breakfast or bring food/drinks to eat along the way or just get motion-sickness ready for the long road trip.Also, consider a direct trip to the 12 Apostles and then Great Ocean Road spots on the return.
