Grotty, shabby, looks like it used to be nice once long ago, if it was an animal you would shoot it to put it out of its misery. Is there a competition for the worlds toilets? This place would be win by far, even germs and bacteria would say 'dam I aint going in there!' (A close second would be the Footscray hotel, that was an experience!)
Good sounds in the evenings. Good old fashioned customer service...
Friendly little pub, with well priced meals
This is a classic traditional pub. Cold beer, big value meals, entertaining company, open fireplace, beer garden.These were all once commonplace in pubs, but are now a bit of a rarity. I hope that people support pubs like The Rose and keep some old school hospitality in our options for going out.
