Communication has unfortunately been rude, hard work and unproductive.
The leasing department are nothing short but "bullish"...rent due on a Sunday and not paid until Monday you are bombarded with texts and calls. When it comes to urgent matters to contact owner they drag their feet, make you jump through hoops then send you a deliberate "out of office" response... Delayed and on purpose. The most revolting experience renting EVER!!!! RENTERS don't commission the big bucks.... So they don't give a damn..... Horrid!!Also... Needed TV Ariel replaced as it was not working upon moving in... Was analogue from the 80s... Paid the $340 to get it installed and they/owner refused to pay it. Had a problem with the heater not working either upon moving in... Reported it and they told me their "handyman" was coming to look at it. He had been at the house for over an hour before he let out that he was in fact "the owner"...no one from the weed agents Told me that was the case and pursuant to the tenancy act... Had no business being there!!!
Dont rent with this agency. They called my emergency contact regarding my rent, but did not bother to call the two numbers In the huge sections stating TENANT INFORMATION. They tell you after signing the lease: - You get one key for two tenants (not a couple)- Tell you that you need to give them a cheque for bond (which costs and great agents and all my previous agents do it for you)- Property hasnt been tenanted for 12 months (found out through the power company) and the house needed special technicians which costs me two wasted days of work and a whole weekend with no power- and Property is experiencing many electrical faultsThey should know the ins and outs of the industry they work in, cant handle it get the F*** out and stop wasting our time
Agent Cindy Dalton, not only she is unprofessional but she is rude and offensive with her emails. she forced us to go ahead with the maintenance on a Saturday at 8:30am. When requested to change the time as I have two toddlers in the house, she sent a notice of entry. Just because we have raised a few maintenance issues she is asking me to leave the property. They never called us or returned calls.
A big thank you to Dee for handling the sale of my property in Newport. Even though I had already moved away to another city, she kept me up-to-date after each house opening. A special call out for helping us get ready for the photo shoot while we were in the midst of our move. Also many thanks to Adrian for a pleasantly surprising auction result.
